December 7 season opener at Simpson
RACE fans will delight with news Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway has released its 2024/25 season calendar.
The season will kick off on Saturday, December 7 with the running of the wingless Sprintcar series round, Formula 500 Victorian title and Formula 500 juniors.
Racing will return to the track on Friday, December 27 with Formula 500 Speedweek, Formula 500 Junior Speedweek and the Super Rod Snoopy Slam.
Dates and events for the remainder of the season are as follows:
Sunday, December 29 – Sprintcars and Street Stock Invitational.
Saturday, January 4 – PSW Speedcar series, wingless Summer Slam.
Saturday, January 18 – 360LS Sprintcar 10K to Win, Super Rods and junior sedan invitational.
Friday, February 14 – AWS Wingless series, vintage sprintcars, 15th-360LS Sprintcars and Super Rods Trevor Podger Memorial.
Friday, March 7 – Australian 360LS practice.
Saturday and Sunday, March 8-9 – Mainline Dynolog Dynameters Australian 360LS Sprintcar Championship and night one of Super Rods and speedcars.
Saturday, March 22 – Victorian Speedcar Title, JSPA junior saloon series round, Formula 500 Stampede round.
Saturday, April 12 – wingless Peter Merritt trophy incorporating wingless front row challenge, Vic SA Street Stock Challenge, VSC sports sedan.
