Grand final awaits Tigers

THE black and gold army will head to Tatyoon this weekend as Woorndoo Mortlake’s B grade and 18 and under netballers contest their respective Mininera League premierships.

The 18 and unders will be hoping to bring home their third consecutive league flag when they take on Lismore Derrinallum at 11.15am.

The Tigers defeated Penshurst by 10 goals in last year’s premiership, and the year prior defeated the Bombers by seven goals.

In the B grade competition, the Tigers earned their place in this weekend’s grand final after defeating Hawkesdale Macarthur by two goals in last Saturday’s preliminary final, 37-35.

The finals series came to an end for Woorndoo Mortlake’s 15 and under netballers who were defeated by Tatyoon 15-23 in last Saturday’s preliminary final.
