Triples tournament for HIBBA
LAST week’s triples tournament was contested by 26 players.

While 29 players from across the district had previously entered, those from Colac were unable to attend due to some severe weather.
Congratulations to Ron Heard, Gerrit Bekker and Helen Hobbs who won the event on 92 points (the only three-game winners for the night).

They were followed by Jason Mungean and Dawn McDowell with two wins and 68 points, while Gary Langenhuizen’s team finished in third on 66 points.
Many thanks to all those who competed on the night despite the challenging environmental conditions.
The next events for Heytesbury will be the presentation night at Cobden Golf Club (Wednesday, September 11) and the annual general meeting (date to be confirmed but late October at this stage).
